Have you seen this Wonder Bread olympic commercial? I absolutely LOVE it! Way too cute and one of the best commercials I've seen in a long time!

Hello card
As I was making this card last night, I wasn't crazy about how the flower was turning out. I almost scrapped it before I finished it but decided to follow through with my idea. Once the card was complete I was surprised at how nice it turned out! The blue diecut flowers and the flower stamps are all from CTMH Serendipity promotional pack from last year. The rusty red background paper is from a CK paper stack. The "Hello" sentiment is from CTMH's For Every Occassion stamp set.
Thanks for looking!

One of my favourite layouts...
I did this layout this past winter at the "It's Still Winter Crop" that my LSS put on. It was a great event and I can't wait until their next event!
This layout is one of my favourites. Not sure why exactly. I love the colours and the simplicity of the layout. This picture is in true Gracie style too...it definitely shows her budding personality. I can't wait to scrapbook more of my own girls. It seems that lately all I get accomplished is custom jobs for everyone else. I MUST make time to work on my own projects more soon. For now I will share some of my layouts from the archives!

Miss you when you're gone...
My husband is gone for the weekend with some buddies to see the NTPA pull this weekend in Bowling Green Ohio. It's so weird when he's gone because he doesn't go away often...we are rarely not together. But I am so glad he is relaxing, having fun with his buddies and finally doing something for himself. Meanwhile, Emalyn, Gracie and myself plan on doing some girly things to keep us entertained all weekend...but we will be missing him terribly.
The above layout is from an CTMH kit they offered last year. This is our engagement picture...taken 10 years ago! *gasp* I love this picture of us...a rare gem for sure! I think Matt looks so handsome in this picture. *sigh*
Love you honey...can't wait until we see you on Monday!
Emma's throwing you kisses!

Address book...
I bought this K&Co. address book kit and finally got around to doing it the other day. I decided I should share this with you because it is such a cute, fun kit to do. It is simple, inexpensive and took no time at all to complete. It comes with everything you need.
This is the front cover. You choose your own monogram letter for the frame to personalize it and I love the little felt flower embellishment.
***Note the colours are not this intense in real life...they are quite vintage. The green is definitely NOT that bright! I appologize for the poor photos.
Inside there are tabbed dividers for Family, Friends, Business & Emergency.
The dividers each are each different in design and have fun embellishments. This is the quote on the Family one...
And this is the Friends one...
So if you find this kit I highly recommend it. It's way cute and fun to do!
***I happened to find this at Zellers here in Canada. They also had the K&Co. file folder kit which is next on my list!! ;)

We're back from the beautiful north!
We had a fantastic time on vacation. It was absolutely beautiful the first few days...hot days with cool nights. An added bonus...we hardly seen a bug! Woohoo! Now that's MY kind of vacation!
The first day we headed to Bracebridge to take the girls to Santa's Village. They both had a blast! We stayed the night in Huntsville at a hotel. This is where we realized that we had left the key to our overhead truck carrier with my Mom by accident. The girls spent the first night sleeping in their birthday suits and wearing the same clothes the next day! Their luggage and all of the linens we needed when we arrived at the cottage were up there. This in itself wasn't a big problem, but finding someone who could open it up for us was.

It took most of our second day to get this problem resolved but then we were on our way to Barry's Bay. It is so beautiful there. Lake Carson is gorgeous and is one of our favourite places ever! We missed not having a boat there but we found lots of other things to do! We played on the beach, swam, paddle boated, fished, fed chipmunks, relaxed on the deck and I of course took lots of pictures! On Thursday it started to storm so we moved the fun indoors with games of Crokinole, checkers and puzzles. We played board games each night after the girls went to bed. We headed home late Friday to make it home in time for Emma's soccer tournament on Saturday. It was a fun game and they all did great! They received metals, ate hotdogs, had their faces painted and got some balloon animals.

Headed north...
In the morning we are headed up north for a week. We are stopping in Bracebridge to take the girls to Santa's Village for the day and then we will be staying overnight in Huntsville. Tuesday morning we will cut across Algonquin Park and head for Barry's Bay. We'll be staying at a friends lakeside cottage all week...I can't wait! Needless to say I will be MIA for awhile.
Have a great week everyone!!
