Then here's a blog for you... Fabulously Artsy.
I love Close to my Heart (CTMH) and I am a consulant for them but just for my own personal use. After being a consultant for Creative Memories for several years I have decided that I just want to scrap for myself...someday I may get back into it but for now I am just enjoying doing my own thing!
Anyways...enough about me. The blog is Tresa Black's and she is a senior executive manager for CTMH. She is a lot of fun and very creative. She has just started doing videos and I hope she keeps them up because they are a lot of fun and loaded with lots of techniques and inspiration!

DDR on WII
I have been wanting to get a WII for so long now...or at least it feels that way! It's starting to get to me!! The first game I want is Dance Dance Revolution (DDR). I had a girls weekend back in April and I got hooked! My plan is to buy myself a WII in late August and then in October I can ask for DDR for my birthday! WII fit is also on my want list but I think I'll go with DDR first. I have it all planned out! (am I pathetic or what!!) ;)
The following video goes out to Taffy and April...my enablers! It's all because of you girls!!
Thanks!

Four Generations Album
My husband's grandmother asked if I would make something with a family tree to give to her sister in law who is battling Alzheimer's. This is what I came up with. I was extremely happy with how it turned out. It was a fun project to work on.
You un-tie the ribbon and open it up to reveal a trifold that can stand on a shelftop for displaying or it can be re-tied and kept like a book. The inside page has a list of family birthdays & anniversaries.
The paper used in this project is mainly from the Cherish paper set from Creative Memories. I absolutely love this paper.

Happy Father's Day!
Here is the Father's Day card I created for my Dad this morning (nothing like leaving things to the last minute!!) It uses a CTMH stamp set called My Farm. I absolutely love this set and was happy with the way it turned out...except I still need to work on my watercolouring skills!!
Have a Happy Father's Day!!

Layout from the archives...
I figured since I hadn't shared anything in a while I would pull a layout out of the archives. I this one a while back at a local LSS crop here in town. I really like the simplicity of this layout and I love this picture of Gracie. This is one of the only layouts I have ever completed about Gracie...can you tell I am behind!? She's 14 months old for heaven's sake!! I have been taking on too many "outside" projects and just haven't had time for any of my own. I completed one of these projects a couple of weeks ago and I hope to be able to post pictures of it tomorrow. Until then...happy scrapping!!
